Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)

At BDS, our biological dentists have been trained directly by Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Ghaanati, professor at the University of Frankfurt. Together with Dr. J. Choukroun from Nice, Dr. Ghaanati developed the most advanced blood concentrate of today, Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF).

PRF is a next-generation platelet concentrate that provides a high concentration of growth factors, leukocytes, and cytokines in the form of a clot or membrane. It is obtained through the centrifugation of autologous blood. Its preparation and handling process are straightforward, in contrast to other platelet concentrates.

At BDS, we always use PRF in our dental extraction treatments, ceramic dental implant surgeries, and FDOJ treatments. The PRF concentrate accelerates the healing process, has an antibacterial effect, and exhibits some analgesic effect.
